Great vegan options. Chili bowl was good ! Veggie burger had good bread, but otherwise could do with a bit more flavor.Mocha was good !
MoreWe went here for breakfast and we ordered the toast with peanut butter and strawberry jam and cream cheese with strawberry jam, a cinnamon latte (which was extraordinary) and a machiatto. Highly recommend if you are a coffee lover!
MoreOh man their mocha is outta this world
Coffee done right. Friendly staff and english is spoken if that helps. Had a amazing pulled pork burger. Perfect little shop to take a break.
MoreThe very berry pie was a good combination with lots of berries and a scoop of ice cream. Coffee was good and atmosphere was relaxed. Staff were very prompt and friendly. I heard customers checking with directions and were given very helpful answers with additional suggestions. There were many tourists around. I guess this has to do with the presence of an English speaking boss and Japanese speaking lady boss? A good place to chill definitely.
MoreBefore I’ve been there, I had read a review about their good coffee. That's absolutely right and breakfasts are good too. Staff is friendly. What a nice place with nice style.
MoreGreat place and atmosphere.I tried quinoa salad plate and hummus plate and both were delicious. And their cafe mocha is the best of my life .All with vegan / vegetarian options.
MoreGreat buzzing atmosphere. Definitely the place to get your coffee fix. Was informed by my Airbnb guide that this outlet is opened by an American (from Seattle) and now lives in Kanazawa. Most of the staff speak English so you would have no problem whatsoever to order. Reminds me a little of the coffee scenes in ItalyP/S: To the barista, just a feedback - you checked out on two customers today whether they have paid (which they did promptly after ordering). Maybe make sense if you can jot it down or have everyone settle their bill right away. Not everyone have good memory which is cool but both incidents happened back to back within minutes.
MoreWonderful cozy multilingual restaurant/cafe. The staff can speak English and Japanese, and are very helpful. I was a little worried if the prices in the reviews were accurate since its a very nice location when you walk in. But everything is reasonable and DELICIOUS.
MoreBrilliant coffee!!!!!! Brilliant Breakfast Burger!!!!!! Beautiful shop. Friendly owners. English menu available. Dont go pass this one. Must try if you are in kanazawa.
MoreThe Pulled Pork Plate is incredibly delicious as is the 美味しい (Oishi) sauce that goes with it. The Cinnamon Ice Cream Latte makes for a great dessert drink and is equally delicious. I brought my mom and she died over the Strawberry Berry Italian Soda. It's filled with frozen berries that add to the taste the longer it sits to melt. That also makes for a great treat at the end of the meal. The staff is super friendly and the prices are excellent for the quality and care that goes into making their delicious treats. The atmosphere is friendly and cozy with great music to calm you down. I wish I lived nearby so I could come all the time. But this is my second time here and I'll be a customer for life.
MoreWe stopped in to this Cafe today and although they intended to close early due to the typhoon, they invited us inside for coffee and food. Delicious macchiato and mocha was had. Amazing hospitality and service!
MoreGreat cafe on a little walking street. Great drinks, awesome pulled pork sandwich, and really nice owners.
MoreExcellent Cafe, top notch long black vs americano. Long black was half coffee half hot water, and was a super strong punch of clean caffeine.Chilli bean soup was good solid comfort food. Served with perfect crusty bread. Pulled pork burger was also quite nice with the option to add more sauce.Would come back here again for a daily coffee.
MoreThis place was incredible. Great service, great coffee, great food, great music. I would've come again the next day if we weren't on our way out of town. Amazing vego options and can be made vegan too. Apple pie was a great little take away snack. So happy with this place. We got the vege sandwich plate and the chilli, didn't disappoint and came away full which was a nice change.
MoreA great place that gives a more western taste for those that miss it. Wonderful attentive service that cares about your food. The coffee is wonderful with careful attention paid to both sourcing milk and custom roast beans to produce a latte with exceptional quality.
MoreStopped for a quick lunch break. Food was good. Sadly, only cash is accepted.
If you’re in the mood for western food (hah), “curio” is very delicious. I couldn’t find pulled pork anywhere in Japan before this. It’s definitely worth trying, even though their main catch is coffee. The staff members know English, too. Overall, a really nice place with great food and a great vibe.
MoreWe had been feeling homesick after a week in Japan. The fantastic coffee and breakfast sandwiches with hot sauce satisfied our cravings! The restaurant is nicely decorated, and the staff was bilingual. The salad on the breakfast sandwich set was lovely, and the soup matched well. If I'm ever in Kanazawa again, I will be visiting again!
MoreI got the pulled pork plate and a cafe latte, absolutely delicious food and great coffee! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend, and hope to visit again someday!
MoreWe came here twice for breakfast, both times enjoying top notch coffee and food. I enjoyed a delicious pulled pork sandwich and my girlfriend had toast with peanut butter and chopped banana. Went down a treat. Comfortable and welcoming.
MoreThe food was outstanding with generous portions. Try the zesty mocha and breakfast sandwich set. The staff were very friendly and spoke fluent English. Get there early as it fills up within 15 minutes after opening.
Morehave to go back really soon !! TOO DELICIOUS !!!
Tried hot matcha latte, very nice taste.
Delicious matcha soy latte. Great veg options. Friendly staff. Great music!
Amazing coffee brunch place in Kanazawa. We found this place just short distance walk from the market. Boutique place with limited no. of seats but it moves quickly so don't give up. The options for coffee flavors are amazing. We took the cinnamon and the raspberry and it was fenomenal!!! I think the mix of the taste and the beans were super amazing! We also enjoyed from their sandwiches (pulled pork & customized one - which I truly honor they agreed for our personal requests due to health issues).A must visit for your morning brunch!
MoreFood was standard fare, nothing worth remembering. I’ve knocked down a star since my drink was forgotten when I requested it to be served along my food. By the time others who entered after me all got their food and drinks, I realized they’d forgotten. No apologies, only a concern that I had t gotten the drink yet. I wouldn’t come again since I’ve had better pulled pork and service elsewhere.
MoreWe stumbled across this coffee shop and were very pleased! As it turns out, the owner speaks very good English and previously lived in Seattle (USA). He was very friendly and chatted with us for a bit, as well as with other customers - he clearly took customer service seriously. I got a cappuccino which had very nicely done foam and was tasty. Thanks!
MoreGood sandwich and service .really good coffee
English menu available. This small coffee shop operated by westerners (at least when we were there) was the best coffee we've had in Japan! There is a full menu of espresso drinks (lattes, americanos, cappuccinos, etc) with a food menu. We had the berry pie ala mode which was delicious. The service was quick and friendly, with the owner even making some recommendations for us to find similar quality coffee. This is a great place to stop while in Kanazawa to enjoy some much needed coffee!
MoreYou can get Melbourne style coffee here! Shame on Tokyo! The owners/baristas sure know how to make some good ones and they are really friendly. Generous portions and mouth watering dishes are available to satisfy your palate.
MoreDecent place place in Kanazawa, if you are a traveler and wanna try something different from Japan. Definitely must com to visit at the day time. Because of the perfect pulled pork burger with two sauces and coffee latte.
MoreI had lunch here and it was lovely! The pulled pork sandwich is fabulous, and the Italian soda was very refreshing. Very friendly and helpful service as well!
MoreHad a very delicious breakfast. The zesty mocha with orange zest is refreshing and good to start a day...
MoreAmazing little cafe with the most gracious hosts with roots from Seattle. Everything we had was superb.
MoreGreat spot for a breakfast bite. The coffee selection is on point. I had the signature Zesty Mocha which was delightful in terms of taste and decoration! They also offer many food options both sweet and savoury - the breakfast sandwiches were delicious. There are also a few small independent shops along the street to take a stroll along before or after sitting down to eat.
MoreLoved this shop during our visit to Kanazawa. Delicious breakfast sandwiches and orange mocha, plus the experience may have inspired us to start our own coffee shop in Japan someday! Highly recommend.
MoreWent there with a friend near closing time. Not sure if it was due to this, but the pulled pork sandwich didn´t taste really fresh. The buns especially were disappointing. The affogato was really good but a bit small. The worker was nice and had time to chat. He also gave some sauce recommendations. I might visit again some other time but at an earlier time and choose another sandwich.
MoreTheir latte is very good!!!( everything is good tho ! )Totally recommended
Loved the cappuccino and the pulled pork sandwich. Weird combination from my part but it was good! Friendly and fast service. They just take cash though. After counting a lot of coins and having paid I saw their chocolate chip cookie and had to have one, which was a great idea since it was a very good cookie 👍Great first impression from Kanazawa.
MoreI dare you to find a better pulled pork sandwich within 200km (no miles here 😬) the service was everything you'd expect from an establishment in Japan with immediate greeting and water to quench your thirst. The food was everything good and delectable you remember from the states. The portions: perfect. Really the formula is simple and the owner has done an excellent job of making it all come together effortlessly and delicious. I would definitely recommend this establishment and the attentive staff to anyone hankering for a taste of good ol US of A
MoreThe biggest strength of this place is that the owners are American and understand folks may want their coffee fix before 11 in the morning. The decor is very western style — depending what you're looking for, that can be great or not. Service is very good and warm, and the coffee I had was very alright. But with other nice coffee places within a ten-fifteen minutes walk with a more "local" vibr, I'm not sure how often I'd see myself coming back here
MoreDelicious homemade food, great service at a good price! Highly recommend
A marvelous place to enjoy your breakfast in Kanazawa.Walking for about 6-8 minutes from Kanazawa station, you can find this cozy coffee shop. The shop is filled with western foreigners and you can order with both English and Japanese. The coffee here was great and the bread is tender with chewiness, giving you a good start of a Kanazawa day.
MorePerfect little café in a good location. The staff here are extremely attentive and friendly; some of nicest table service we've had since coming to Japan. The food was a fresh change to the Japanese food we've been frequently eating. The portions weren't the largest, however they were seemed high quality. If we're ever back in Kanazawa, we'd happily return.
MoreThe breakfast is really good.
Great coffee and selection of food including peanut butter and banana on toast ❤️
MoreSuperb and cozy cafe. Amazing coffee served with unbelievably delicious sandwiches and soup. The serene atmosphere coddles your mind and the music relaxes your body as you gaze upon the vintage cameras and antiques peppered around the cafe. I highly recommend this place before heading out on your journey to the enchanting sites of Kanazawa.
MoreFantastic food and service. When we went was full English speaking foreigner staff (French guy). So if you don’t speak Japanese, or even if you do, definitely check this out. Amazing service, amazing tea, coffee, beer, pastries and food. You can’t go wrong here, so glad we found it.
MoreProbably the best coffee place in Japan. And the pulled pork sandwich was really quite incredible as well.
